Lost in the village I never called mine
I looked to see if the locals were fine
I noticed it was quiet around
So I read the road sign in town
“No left turn” thrice I read
To see if I would make a mess
I walked slowly to see more signs
For fear I would pay a lot of fines
It was almost dark; my heart was alarmed
There was nothing more than trees beyond
I prayed to God if I were found
I would not hesitate to be fully armed
In case I decided to stay sound.
