(enter character B to Mr. A)
Mr. ,
You know what I do on days when I can’t sleep?
I watch over my children sleeping. And I always check if there’s any sign of discomfort or illness. It’s kinda obsession for some people. I see them sleep while changing to different positions. I watch them breathe and feel their rhythm as mine. And when I can’t still sleep, I call on to God, and tell him how grateful I am for this heavy boulder on my back. I do this until I hear the rooster’s call at 3am. Without stopping until sleep can find me.
Maybe I do this out of a habit. But maybe this is just one of the many reasons that make me a mother.
